The Ohio Hemp Growers Association was founded in 2019 following the legalization of hemp cultivation in Ohio. We are a non-profit organization comprised of farmers, agricultural experts, processors, and industry advocates dedicated to establishing hemp as a viable and sustainable crop in Ohio.
Our organization brings together stakeholders from all aspects of the hemp industry to share knowledge, advocate for fair regulations, and promote the growth of this versatile crop throughout the state.
With members from all regions of Ohio, we represent a diverse community of agriculturalists united by their interest in hemp's potential to diversify farm income, support sustainable farming practices, and develop new economic opportunities across the state.
We envision Ohio as a leader in sustainable hemp production, where farmers thrive by growing high-quality hemp for diverse markets, from fiber and grain to CBD and other applications. We believe hemp can play a vital role in Ohio's agricultural future by providing farmers with new revenue streams while supporting environmental sustainability.
